What are the responsibilities and job description for the Management Consultant - New York position at The Berkeley Partnership?
The Berkeley Partnership is an independently owned management consulting firm based in London and New York. For over 30 years, Berkeley has been doing things a little differently for both our clients and our people - working together to show how consulting should be. We work with large, high-profile clients, shaping and delivering complex and transformational change.
We're looking for passionate, dedicated and talented consultants who thrive in a collaborative environment and are driven to deliver great results for our clients. We don't recruit for functional expertise or industry specialism but for core consulting skills and adaptability. The work we do for our clients requires a combination of effective leadership, strategy and delivery expertise so we look to hire and develop consultants who want to grow by helping our clients tackle their most critical challenges, often by working as an integral part of our clients' leadership teams.
There's a strong focus on personal and professional development with a Partner to Consultant ratio of 1 : 4. We don't do hierarchy so there are just two levels, Partner and Consultant which fosters a unique collaborative culture across the whole firm.
We are a relationship-based business. Therefore, our consultants can expect to spend time on site with our clients and colleagues and actively contribute to our community. They should also be willing to work flexibly to meet the needs of our clients which may involve some travel. However, we do not anticipate our consultants working away from home consistently for long periods.
