What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at The Berkshire Country Club?
The Berkshire Country Club is looking to add to our amazing team of hospitality professionals. We are a private member owned Country Club, located just outside of Reading, that offers multiple recreational activities, dining experiences and Club events.
Our Men's Lounge Bartenders are responsible for providing an exceptional dining and beverage experience for our male members and their guests. They will prepare, pour and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Club standards. Requires knowledge of all aspects of mixology including food/wine pairings and wine presentation and service.
What are we looking for?
Certified Bartender that can simultaneously prepare multiple drink orders while giving members great attention.
Refined bartender with a warm, inviting personality and disposition.
Bartenders that have the desire to make every encounter with our members and guests a memorable experience that they will want to share.
Experience bartending in an upscale environment preferred.
Flexibility to work in all of our dining outlets. (Inside and outside)
What we require.
High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Ramp training
Graduate of bartending school. (preferred)
A neat, clean and well-kept appearance.
At least three years of bartending experience.
Reliable transportation.
Flexibility in scheduling. Day, evening, weekends, holidays and special events.
To be of legal age to server alcohol.
Willingness to go above and beyond providing outstanding, unparalleled service to our members and guests.
Ability to work under pressure, in a noisy environment, and around large groups of people.
Ability to work in a Men's smoking lounge.
Ability to balance a serving tray on one hand and distribute items with the other hand.
Excellent oral communication and listening skills.
