What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Server position at The Berkshire Country Club?
The Berkshire Country Club is looking to add to our amazing team of hospitality professionals. We are a private member owned Country Club, located just outside of Reading, that offers multiple recreational activities, dining experiences and Club events.
We are currently hiring servers to work at our pool for the summer.
The expected start date will be in the second to third week of May 2025.
What the pool server will be doing.
Provide outstanding service to our members and their guests in a professional and courteous manner.
Work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Take food and beverage orders and clearly enter them into the Point of Sales system.
Have full knowledge of beverage lists, menu items, current specials/promotions, garnishes and preparation methods.
Simultaneously serve multiple tables, while giving them all great attention.
Assist other team members as needed.
Perform clean up and closing duties.
Ensure member's needs are met and they are satisfied with the level of service and the quality and timing of the food/beverage delivery.
What we require.
A neat, clean and well-kept appearance.
At least one year of serving experience.
Reliable transportation.
Flexibility in scheduling. Morning, day, evening, weekends, holidays and special events.
To be of legal age to server alcohol.
