Are you an experienced leader with a passion for retail fixture design and engineering? We are seeking a Fixture Development Team Leader to manage and develop a team of Fixture Development Project Managers (FDPMs) while driving collaboration across multiple departments to deliver high-quality retail environments.
In this role, you will oversee the development of both permanent and semi-permanent fixtures, working closely with Account Managers, Designers, Engineers, Sourcing, Estimating, and Production teams. You will provide leadership, industry expertise, and strategic direction to ensure client needs are met with innovative and functional solutions. From defining project scopes to ensuring seamless execution, you will play a critical role in shaping exceptional retail experiences.

Shift available: Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
A variety of these traits will help land you this job if you have:
- a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Design or a related field or or 5-7 years of equivalent experience in fixture design and engineering.
- 3 or more years of related experience in leadership or management (required)
On top of that you must:
- pay close attention to details so you are able to complete projects accurately within deadlines while meeting Company quality standards
- have a strong knowledge of project management software, including Excel, Google, and Project
- be self-motivated, a fast learner, and show initiative to seek out customer and corporate needs
- have the ability to work independently, make decisions and solve problems independently, effectively and creatively
- apply effective time management and self-management skills
- understand and maintain the confidential nature of the company, employee and customer information
In this position you'll:
work with Fixture Development Project Manager's to assign projects while ensuring that the statement of work is followed, deadlines are met, quality is controlled, and a high level of customer service is maintained.
verify the correctness and completeness of data to maintain consistent and accurate customer work documentation and a work audit trail within the customer files.
manage the day-to-day activities and provide guidance and coaching for the Fixture Development Project Manager's.
assure that all team members understand their roles and accept their responsibilities.
provide direction, leadership, and motivation to ensure the team achieves service, sales and operational goals while serving as a voice and subject matter expert for the Fixture Development Project Managers.
collaborate and partner with the account team to define and develop design strategies for high end retail displays, both permanent and semi-permanent.
support Account Manager's and Fixture Development Project Manager's with client meetings and presentations.
determine staffing requirements and identify capacity constraints, train new employees, and oversee personnel processes including PTO approval.
stay current with systems and process changes, quickly adopt, and hold team members accountable to these changes.
brings ideas to the Account Director and other stakeholders within the company to improve processes and procedures to ensure the company is operating efficiently and effectively.
creatively problem solves and ensures the team can react quickly to provide the expected results of clients.
- perform miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks, as requested by Management.

Compensation Range: $95,000 - $115,000 annually
*Range reflects our good-faith assessment of our hiring range for this role based on market conditions, experience level, and internal equity considerations.
