We are looking for an experienced Retail Program Manager to join our team. You’ll be part of a talented group that collaborates to deliver world-class products to our customers. In this role, you will work closely and directly with a specific client to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according to plan and within quality control standards. As the Retail Program Manager, you are responsible for the complete customer experience and is responsible for maintaining and growing sales within their accounts.
A variety of these traits will help land you this job if you have:
- a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
- a Minimum of one year sales experience in the industry.
- 5-10 years minimum related experience in project management required.
- 5 years minimum related experience in printing or retail industry preferred.
On top of that you must:
- have working knowledge of project management software, including E-Pace, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
- be able to successfully collaborate with people across several functions within the organization to achieve results, including senior leadership, Sales, Prepress, Cutting, Kitting, Shipping, and other departments.
- be able to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- capable of reacting to project adjustments and alterations promptly and effectively.
- be able to make proactive design decisions and move forward with projects based on available information; able to think analytically and make a decision from many alternatives.
- be able to supervise and lead employees, set objectives and work goals and standards, give direction, delegate to, and motivate employees.

- be able to identify, evaluate, problem solve, and give direction regarding problem resolution for individual and company-wide issues.
- have the ability to work through department heads to create changes needed to grow accounts
In this position you'll:
- direct and manage projects from beginning to end.
- be the client’s main point of contact at The Bernard Group.
- visit the client and touch base with them on a daily basis.
- handle any client issues and develops solutions and efficiencies.
- define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with the project manager.
- produce projects under corporate directives.
- develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
- initiate job orders with ticket numbers and a collection of complete files, art and data/distribution.
- upload collected production related files.
- communicate data and other support information by email.
- estimate the resources and team members needed to achieve project goals.
- negotiate with other department managers regarding additional resources and team members.
- communicate with project manager project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- track project milestones and deliverables.
- proactively manages change in project scope, identifies potential crises, and devises contingency plans.
- quote projects and works directly with the client.
- maintain a strong relationship with the client and assists with growing sales within existing clients.
- provide job shadow experiences for new and developing department staff.
- attend daily team meetings scheduled by the Manager.
- perform other duties as requested by management.
