Are you a skilled leader with a passion for maintaining and optimizing building systems? We're seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead our Facilities team with expertise, vision, and a focus on excellence. In this role, you'll mentor and develop a skilled team while taking ownership of critical systems, including HVAC, humidification, compressed air, plumbing, and basic electrical systems.
As a hands-on manager, you'll oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of key infrastructure, ensuring comfort and operational stability across the company. You'll also leverage advanced monitoring systems like Facilities Management Express, iMonnit, Vorne, and custom solutions to drive efficiency and environmental performance.

Shift available : Monday through Friday 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm with a potential need after hours and weekends
A variety of these traits will help land you this job. If you have :
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years experience in commercial property maintenance preferred
- 3 years maintenance experience
- 2 years Supervisory experience of maint. teams / crew members preferred
- A strong working knowledge of building HVAC systems and large industrial air compressor systems

Mentor a team of Facilities Technicians, manage system upgrades, and develop preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.Motivate, mentor, coach and train employees for professional development, employee engagement and the creation of a safe and inclusive work environmentSet high performance expectations and provide feedback, both positive and constructive to ensure those expectations are metMaintain priorities for daily and weekly maintenance activities for Facilities Technicians and assigned trades within the Facilities Maintenance Department.Assists in developing, implementing, and monitoring preventive maintenance programs for mechanical systems.Supervise the performance of emergency and routine maintenance on enterprise facilities and systems.Inspects buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repair making notes and recommendations.Support engineering / production departments on Integration projects.Order / Procure parts and maintain required documents.Work closely with all departments and manage requests / facility needs in effective priority order.Maintain ingress and egress of company properties.Performs minor electrical maintenance to include but not limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.) using appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools.Performs minor plumbing maintenance (replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, trenching and laying new lines, replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices, etc.)Performs minor painting, carpentry and masonry work (preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes hanging doors, fitting locks and handles, etc.)Reconfigures, installs, positions, and remounts modular offices and space (furniture, wall panels, work surfaces, storage bins, lighting, file cabinets, etc.)Prepares the surfaces and paints various structures and equipment (walls, floors, roofs, doors, restroom facilities, etc.) to preserve wood and metal parts from corrosion and maintain a safe, comfortable working environment using various painting equipment and related tools (sprayers, rollers, brushes, thinners, etc.)Liaison for contracted facilities services and projects (Maint., cleaning, utilities, construction, etc.)Performs miscellaneous projects and completes various tasks as requested by management.Support Safety, Environmental, and Production Maintenance Teams.Performs miscellaneous tasks and projects as requested by management.To get hired at The Bernard Group, you MUST be :
