Summary

We are seeking a Food Service Associate to join our team at The Bethlehem Center. In this role, you will be responsible for meal preparation and food service operations that support our mission of nurturing and empowering local families. Your contributions will directly impact the well-being of those we serve.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals in accordance with dietary and health and safety guidelines.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas and food preparation surfaces.
• Assist in food production processes to meet daily meal requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service to all program participants during meal times.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive kitchen environment.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies.

Work Hours

6:30pm-2:00pm Monday-Friday

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Previous experience in food service or meal preparation is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on community engagement.
• Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is essential.
