Responsibilities

- Ensure all food preparation and production processes comply with food safety regulations.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with creativity, ensuring visual appeal as well as taste.
- Assist in menu planning for catering events, providing innovative dessert options.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen operations.
- Experience in cake decorating and creating intricate pastry designs is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with various baking equipment and tools used in the production of pastries.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
