Job Title: Laser Light Night Technician
Reports To: Director of Sales and Special Events
Classification: Part-time, Seasonal
Schedule: Thursday - Saturday 5:00 PM – 10:15 PM from May 22-August 30 2025
Compensation: $18/hour. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.
Summary
Calling all outgoing music lovers!
The Laser Light Technician is a member of the team responsible for the setup, execution, and breakdown of The Bishop’s Laser Light Nights in the Planetarium Theatre.
Essential Functions
· Operate the laser projectors and computer to run the laser light shows – no experience necessary., we will train you.
· Assist event staff with set up and break down
· Perform Museum closing procedures at the end of the shift.
· Be able to be comfortable public speaking and enforcing rules and policies
· Be comfortable with software and troubleshooting issues
· Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests.
