Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and assist in creating a positive dining experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a warm atmosphere is essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive and provide a warm welcome.
- Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover.
- Assist guests with reservations and waitlist management.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for managing reservations and guest flow.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining composure.
- Familiarity with food service operations is a plus.
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Aloha, is advantageous but not required.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to help others are essential traits for this role.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
