The Role
We are seeking a dynamic, adaptable, and highly motivated Associate Producer to join our innovative event planning team dedicated to advancing the global impact of Bitcoin. You will bring experience in supporting large-scale events and possess a passion for creating human-centric event experiences. You’ll be proactive in problem-solving and assist the production team in creating a dynamic experience for attendees at the Bitcoin Conference. You will be excited about new challenges, have a passion for organization, and will have excellent communication skills to articulate your ideas.
Success in this role will require an individual who is flexible and collaborative. We pride ourselves on our iterative process, which involves all team members being adaptable and willing to adjust as the event plan comes into focus. This role will also require you to be very organized and capable of overseeing multiple product timelines to be successful. You will have experience creating systems at other organizations and will be comfortable offering feedback on current processes to help our team improve.
You’ll Be Doing
- Event Production : Actively contribute to the creative process by participating in production brainstorming sessions. Conduct thorough research to identify and secure reliable vendors, ensuring a seamless execution of all aspects of the event. Take ownership of specific projects within the event production, from conception to execution. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will guarantee the successful implementation of key elements.
- Data Management : Maintain meticulous records of project details, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information throughout the project lifecycle. Develop a comprehensive system that organizes and archives data to support the planning of future events.
- Activation Support : Take an active role in ideation sessions to generate creative and engaging activation ideas that align with the conference's theme and objectives. When needed, take the lead on owning activations, ensuring seamless execution, a positive attendee experience, and a successful sponsorship.
- Project Management : Take an active role in the overall project management of various conference-wide products. Will work hand in hand with the product owner to manage the project as a whole and communicate with external stakeholders and vendors.
- Room and Venue Layout Management : Manage and maintain accurate, up-to-date floorplans and room layouts by collaborating with external clients, venues, and general contractors. Effectively communicate design details and understand functional requirements, ensuring layout decisions align with event needs. While not responsible for physically creating floorplans, possess a strong awareness of how design choices impact space functionality.
