The Black Mental Health Corporation is seeking passionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapists (LPC, LSW, LMFT, LPCC, LISW, IMFT) who specialize in child and adolescent populations in an outpatient setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitate the admission process, including the completion of necessary intake forms and releases.
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to determine eligibility and diagnostic criteria for children, adolescents, and families.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling, including facilitating specific child and family groups and programs.
- Deliver crisis intervention and perform risk assessments as needed.
- Collaborate with children, guardians, and treatment providers to develop specific treatment goals.
- Complete treatment plans and necessary documentation in a timely manner.
- Meet productivity requirements while providing tailored counseling services for a range of issues, including trauma, addiction, and grief.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to ensure effective service delivery based on clinical needs.
- Offer guidance on community resources and facilitate referrals as appropriate.
- Document assessment results, treatment planning, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely manner.
- Engage in supervision and professional development activities to ensure comprehensive care.
- Comply with all federal, state, and funding regulatory requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Experience:
- Proven experience in social work or family therapy
- Strong knowledge of conflict management techniques
- Familiarity with case management principles
- Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments
- Certification or licensure in family therapy or related field
Education and License Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field in Mental Health.
- Licensed (LMFT,LSW, LPC,) or Independently licensed in the state of Ohio (LISW, LPCC, IMFT).
- CANS certification preferred
Salary : $35 - $55
