Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care, assist with medical documentation, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.
Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Assist with patient assessments and examinations
- Provide wound care and perform dressing changes
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate medical documentation using electronic health record systems ( Yardi)
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in the state of Florida
- Proven experience in providing patient care, preferably in a behavioral health setting
- Knowledge of medical documentation practices and electronic health record systems ( Yardi)
- Familiarity with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and its usage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
