As the Director of Wellness for The Blake at Lafayette, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a diverse set of responsibilities, including:
- Overseeing the Wellness (Nursing Care) department to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations
- Managing nursing and personal care personnel to oversee resident well-being and care
- Evaluating the physical, functional, and psycho-social condition of residents taking proactive care measures
- Promoting exceptional care and fostering service excellence
- Guaranteeing compliance with both Federal and State regulations and standards for the community
Requirements
- A genuine heart that thrives on serving others
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing from accredited nursing college or university
- Three years of nursing experience
- Two years supervisory experience
- Current RN license as required by state regulations
- Must have experience in hiring staff, managing budgets, and managing schedules
- Must be flexible and prepared to assist on a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Current First Aid certification
- Current CPR certification
- Experience in Assisted Living or Long-term care
- Experience in dementia care
