The Blake at Waco is seeking a dedicated and compassionate LVN nurse to join our team. As a LVN Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting wellness.
Responsibilities:
- Assess residents' health conditions and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Assist with medical procedures such as IV insertion and medication administration
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on health management and disease prevention
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients
Requirements:
- Valid LVN license in Texas
- Experience in Assisted Living and Nursing home
- Proficiency in administering injections, ventilating patients, and performing basic nursing procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
