What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Waitstaff position at The Blind Goat?
The Blind Goat is the first venture Master Chef Season 3 Winner, Christine Ha, took into the restaurant industry. As a Vietnamese American she wanted to take Vietnamese foods/flavors and use modern techniques to create unique foods that you can’t find anywhere else. With opportunities to learn and grow within the company, we are currently seeking FOH staff that are positive, forward thinking, proactive and have great attitudes.
Servers - Looking for professional friendly servers who think no job is too small or big for me. Need servers who care about making each guest’s experience unique and incredible. Positive attitudes only.
Responsibilities - Up to but not limited too.
Set up the restaurant at the beginning and end of shift. This entails cleaning, setting tables, etc. Napkin folds and all other side duties.
Food & beverage knowledge. Intimate knowledge of the menus is MANDATORY.
Guiding guests through the menu and making sure the guest has an extremely positive experience.
Being proactive to guests' needs.
Work quickly in a fast paced environment. Ability to multitask.
Food Handlers and TABC certification required.
SMILING and being PLEASANT.
