Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in drapery construction and a strong understanding of sewing techniques. The Seamstress will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet our quality standards and are completed in a timely manner. Bilingual with Spanish and English.
Duties
- Operate sewing machines to construct draperies according to specifications.
- Fabricate and assemble various types of window coverings, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
- Maintain an organized workspace within the warehouse, ensuring all materials are stored properly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on sewing machines and report any issues promptly.
- Follow safety protocols while working with machinery and handling fabrics.
Requirements
- Proven experience in drapery construction and sewing techniques.
- Proficiency in operating sewing machines and other related equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
- Ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment, including standing for long periods.
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines.
