The Service Technician troubleshoots, diagnoses, maintains, and repairs residential and commercial HVAC systems, following assignments from the Service Manager or Dispatcher. They ensure work quality meets company standards and represent the company professionally.
Responsibilities :
Diagnose, maintain, and repair equipment properly the first time he is at a customer’s location
Attend all training classes and training seminars to keep his expertise upgraded in his field
Adhering to proper procedures in the use of paperwork (work order, return material tags, etc.)
Keeping the Dispatcher always informed as to “where you are”, “where you’ve been”, and “where are you going”
Fill out service tickets for maintenance and service work while on the job
Collect payment for services rendered where required
Keep abreast of all company sales promotions and pricing
Responsible for always having all minimum required stock on truck
Recommend / sell equipment, service agreements, and accessories when it is requested by the customer or is in the best interest of the customer to do so
Always be neat and clean and keeping truck and equipment the same
Requirements :
3 years of HVAC Service / Maintenance experience
EPA Certification a Plus
NATE certified or be working towards NATE certification
Must have all required tools
Ability to represent employer in a professional manner with customers, vendors, staff and the general public
Must have all required tools
Be adaptable
Good communication skills
