Job Description

Job Title : Automotive Mechanic

Location : Blue Springs, MO

Job Type : Full-time, Permanent

Responsibilities :

Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle problems.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.

Skills and Qualifications :

Proven experience as an automotive mechanic; Minimum of 3 years' experience working as an automotive general technician.

Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

ASE certification or equivalent is preferred.

Valid driver’s license.

Own professional grade tools to service any repair needed.

Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.

Must be punctual and bring a positive attitude to work every day.
