As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing carbon and stainless-steel pipe systems in a construction environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pipefitting techniques, including take-offs, fabricating, threading, grooving, etc. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications / Duties :
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and codes and standards to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Fabricate and install piping systems, including pipes, valves, and fittings.
- Perform welding tasks, including welding, to join pipes and other metal components.
- Connect and secure pipes to valves, pumps, and other equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair piping system issues.
- Proven experience in pipefitting, preferably in hydronic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and codes and standards.
- Experience with TIG Welding techniques
- Familiarity with system construction and maintenance.
- Knowledge of hydronic systems and components.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
