Must be experienced in carbon and stainless steel TIG pipe welding, stick experience is a plus. This position is open to local candidates only and offers no per-diem. This job is located on-site in Atlanta, GA at a new construction data center. Weld testing and occasional shop workdays.
Job Responsibilities :
Proven experience in pipefitting, preferably in the HVAC, plumbing, or industrial sectors.
Strong understanding of pipefitting techniques, including welding and fabrication.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and codes and standards. Ability to route pipe and develop isometric sketches
6010 / 7018 pipe welding
Stainless and carbon steel tig pipe welding
Experience with weld pipe, threaded pipe, and Victaulic pipe fittings.
Familiarity with pipeline construction and maintenance.
Knowledge of chill water, hot water, steam, and process systems.
Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
