Responsibilities :
Designing code compliant & complex HVAC systemsPerform HVAC cooling and heating load calculations using Carrier HAP or similar programsDesigning complete HVAC drawings including ductwork & piping plans, schedules, details, riser diagrams, controls diagrams, and specificationsCoordinating design between all trades, including internal team members as well as architect / clientHandling multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining quality and deadlinesPerforming construction administration services (submittal reviews, RFI responses, and field visits to verify construction is proceeding per the intent of the design and assisting in start-up of systems when requiredOccasionally travel for on-site surveys to document existing conditionsBackground :
BS Mechanical Engineering5-10 years of experience required, preferably in a design firm settingPE requiredLEED accredited is a plusExperience developing designs using AutoCAD and RevitKnowledge and experience with implementing HVAC designs from schematic through constructionExperience with various HVAC systems including, central plant systems, chillers, boilers, VRF, DOAS, VAV systems, etc.Knowledge of all applicable codes, IMC, IECC, ASHRAE, etc.IMMEDIATE OPENING - DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS EXCITING OPPORTUNITY. Salary : $115,000 - $130,000
