Position Summary :
The Electrical Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects. This role involves managing project schedules, budgets, and teams to ensure successful completion while maintaining strong client relationships.
Primary Responsibilities :
Collaborate with superintendents and foremen to organize and direct project activities.
Establish project objectives, policies, and performance standards within contract guidelines.
Maintain client relationships to facilitate smooth project activities.
Monitor project schedules and budgets, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Represent the company in meetings and strategy sessions.
Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company interests while ensuring client satisfaction.
Oversee procurement of supplies and materials as needed.
Interpret and communicate plans and contract terms to team members and clients.
Generate progress, cost, and scheduling reports.
Assign workforce to specific project sites in coordination with Superintendents.
Key Competencies :
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Proficiency in mathematics and trade knowledge.
Expertise in project management.
Team-oriented and self-motivated.
Requirements :
Electrical background with proficiency in electrical estimating, design, and the National Electrical Code.
Physical Demands :
Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required.
Frequently lift up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
