What You’ll Be Doing:
- Taking charge of installing, maintaining, and repairing residential and commercial garage doors and openers like the pro you are.
- Showing off your problem-solving skills during site visits to figure out what’s needed to get the job done right.
- Making customers feel like they’ve hit the jackpot with your top-notch service and friendly demeanor.
- Explaining products and installation processes in a way that makes clients say, “Take my money!”
- Upselling and cross-selling like a champ because you know how to spot opportunities.
- Leading by example—training and mentoring junior techs like the boss you are.
- Keeping safety top of mind and ensuring every installation is smooth, secure, and compliant.
- Staying organized with service reports and customer feedback because you know details matter.
- Keeping the tools stocked and the team prepped, ready to tackle the next big project.
What We’re Looking For:
- Garage Door Technician and Installer experience (you know your way around springs, cables, and openers).
- Home sales experience that proves you can talk the talk AND walk the walk.
- Customer service skills that make people remember your name (in a good way).
- A go-getter attitude with organizational and time-management chops.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift heavy objects without breaking a sweat.
- A willingness to occasionally work weekends or holidays (because doors don’t take days off).
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Certification from the International Door Association (IDA)—fancy credentials are always a plus.
- Experience with smart garage door systems (welcome to the future).
- Basic electrical or mechanical skills.
