POSITION SUMMARY
The Tax Consultant will play a crucial role in our Tax Services department, The Tax Consultant will oversee tax preparation services for clients at Blueprint University, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely filing of tax returns. This key role will drive client satisfaction and maximize our tax services' value. The ideal candidate will possess strong tax knowledge and client service skills to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities :
The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to :
- Client Consultation : Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to gather relevant financial information and documentation for accurate tax preparation.
- Tax Return Preparation : Prepare and review individual and business tax returns in compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Research : Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations and conduct research to ensure accurate and up-to-date tax compliance.
- Client Communication : Communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries, provide tax planning advice, and ensure a smooth and transparent process throughout the engagement.
- Documentation : Maintain organized and accurate client files, ensuring that all necessary documentation is collected and stored appropriately.
- Quality Assurance : Conduct thorough reviews of prepared tax returns to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors.
- Deadline Management : Manage and prioritize workload to meet tax filing deadlines, ensuring timely submission of tax returns.
- Collaboration : Collaborate with other team members, including Tax Managers and Senior Tax Preparers, to share knowledge and best practices.
- Continuing Education : Stay abreast of industry trends, tax law changes, and professional development opportunities to enhance expertise and maintain relevant certifications.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of individual and business tax returns.
- Maintain and improve client retention rates and meet new targets.
- Provide strategic tax planning and advice to clients.
- Analyze financial records for compliance and identify tax savings.
- Assist clients with tax audits and resolve tax-related issues.
- Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote Blueprint University’s tax services through networking and marketing.
- This position operates in an office environment. The Tax Preparer may be required to work additional hours during peak tax season.
