POSITION SUMMARY
The Tax Consultant will oversee tax preparation services for clients at Blueprint University, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely filing of tax returns. This key role will drive client satisfaction and maximize our tax services' value. The ideal candidate will possess strong tax knowledge and client service skills to deliver exceptional results. This role is based in one of our remote satellite office locations.

OBJECTIVES
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of individual and business tax returns.
- Maintain and improve client retention rates and meet new targets.
- Provide strategic tax planning and advice to clients.
- Analyze financial records for compliance and identify tax savings.
- Assist clients with tax audits and resolve tax-related issues.
- Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations.
- Monitor department metrics and KPIs for performance.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote Blueprint University’s tax services through networking and marketing.
- Work independently and efficiently in a remote satellite office location with limited in-person supervision.
- Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors in a remote setting, ensuring alignment on goals and tasks.
- Strong knowledge of tax preparation.
- Ability to analyze financial records and provide strategic advice.
- Familiarity with tax laws and regulations.

- Strong self-discipline and organizational skills to manage workload with minimal supervision in a remote location.
- 3-10 years of experience in tax preparation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Must be a Certified Tax Consultant (CPA / EA)
- Prior experience in a client-facing position.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk or computer.
