We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our Walmart team in Bentonville, Arkansas. As a key part of our team, you will lead supply chain initiatives to help clients thrive and grow their business with Walmart and Sam’s Club. Your expertise will drive instock goals, forecast accuracy, and on-time delivery while providing critical supply chain insights and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain & Replenishment Leadership
- Drive replenishment efforts in partnership with Walmart’s replenishment team and Bluebird’s sales team to ensure optimal inventory levels and meet Walmart’s instock and delivery goals.
- Monitor and proactively address supply chain challenges to improve on-time and in-full (OTIF) delivery, ensuring compliance with Walmart’s Supply Chain Quality Excellence Program (SQEP).
- Work cross-functionally with supplier logistics, sales, and supply teams to optimize inventory flow and mitigate potential stock issues.
- Forecasting & Performance Analytics
- Analyze sales, orders, and vendor performance metrics to enhance forecast accuracy and optimize inventory management.
- Provide data-driven insights to improve replenishment strategies and address vendor performance issues.
- Track and report on key metrics, including OTIF, instocks, inventory levels, and forecast accuracy, leveraging Walmart’s Retail Link tools such as Decision Support, GRS, Item 360, and NOVA.
- Vendor & Item Management
- Onboard and maintain vendor profiles, including item setup, factory ID registration, ship points, brand IDs, and lead time audits.
- Manage purchase order processes for Domestic and Direct Import (DI), tracking and adjusting as needed while keeping Walmart’s replenishment team informed.
- Facilitate accurate supplier quoting through QMS and ensure proper PO editing and reporting.
- Reporting & Expertise
- Prepare and deliver key reports, including Walmart Ladders and Luminate updates, while providing ad hoc analysis for Walmart, clients, and Bluebird’s Sales Lead.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Walmart’s supply chain processes, guiding clients through best practices and system navigation, including Supplier Academy training.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability
- Identify and resolve vendor performance issues through data analysis and root-cause problem-solving.
- Adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment, effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Desired Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of Walmart’s supply chain systems, procedures, and internal inventory management processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data sorting/grouping).
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Walmart-specific tools and platforms, including Retail Link, Luminate/Madrid, Aspen, OTIF, SQEP, GRS, NOVA, Item 360/Supplier One, QMS, TS, and TSCP.
