Associate Veterinarian

The Bluffs Pet Clinic is a full-service veterinary hospital that believes in the whole health of the pets we treat. Our team offers a holistic, multi-modal approach to veterinary medicine based on Western treatments and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) techniques. We are an AAHA-Accredited facility and a Cat Friendly® Practice. Our employees are Fear-Free® Certified and are trained to use proven techniques that reduce stress and anxiety in the pets we see during their visits to our clinic.
Our team prides itself in providing excellent personalized care for the cats and dogs of Red Wing, MN. Our doctors and medical staff are a close-knit group of animal lovers dedicated to nurturing the physical and emotional wellbeing of every pet we see. We take pride in promoting the human-animal bond and providing the highest standard of medical care for all of our patients, and we're adding an Associate DVM to our busy and thriving Veterinary Practice!
This opportunity is open to candidates who have graduated from an accredited Veterinary school and qualify for or already possess licensure in the state of Minnesota. Candidates with the following knowledge, skills and abilities are encouraged to apply!
Qualifications
Both experienced DVMs and new graduates are welcome! To assist us in taking excellent care of our patients, you should have the following education, experience, and qualities:
- Graduation from an AVMA accredited Veterinary Program.
- License to practice Veterinary Medicine in the state of Minnesota, or qualify for licensure.
- A positive, friendly demeanor is a must! The team will look to you for leadership and you will be depended upon to help uphold our professional standards and integrity as well as support and participate in our positive practice culture.
- Be knowledgeable and skilled in the practice of veterinary medicine and general soft tissue surgery
- Possess excellent marketing skills to justify and encourage diagnostic and treatment plans for patients and embolden follow-through by clients.
- A team oriented mind-set with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
- Continued interest in your professional growth, the growth and success of the practice.
- An educational approach to client communication. The more our clients know - the better care they can take of their pets!
- An interest in practicing integrative medicine, or bringing a personal specialty to our patients is encouraged.

Hours & Availability
We pride ourselves in flexible scheduling! Our clinic is open during the following hours of operation:
- Monday - Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
