Summary
We are seeking a Certified Medication Technician to join our team at The Bluffs. In this role, you will be responsible for administering medications and providing essential support to our residents, ensuring their health and well-being while contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional care.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor residents for side effects and reactions to medications.
- Maintain accurate medication records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist with personal care tasks and daily living activities for residents.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Provide support and education to residents and their families regarding medication management.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Medication Technician or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
