Summary
We are seeking a LPN/RN to join our dedicated team at The Bluffs. In this role, you will provide essential nursing care to our residents, contributing to their rehabilitation and overall well-being over the weekends. Your expertise will play a vital role in delivering compassionate and effective healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Assist with daily living activities for residents, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Implement aseptic techniques during procedures to maintain patient safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness practices.
Requirements
- Valid LPN/RN license in the state of Missouri.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and nursing practices.
- Experience with IV insertion and administering injections is required.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Matrix is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
