What are the responsibilities and job description for the Massage Therapist position at The Boar's Head Resort?
Boar's Head is seeking a part-time Massage Therapist. You will support our Spa team by performing therapeutic massages of soft tissue and joints and assist our guests in relaxation by providing excellent customer service in a calming environment.
Requirements:
- Provide Spa guests with a relaxing experience by performing therapeutic massage and body treatment techniques
- Provide a nurturing environment in concert with the highest professional standards regarding client confidentiality and disclosure of inappropriate personal or business information
- Keep treatment rooms clean by sweeping the floor, changing linens and wiping down cabinetry and sink
- Contribute to overall resort team goals by completing additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Educated and certified in the profession of massage therapy
- Must hold and maintain a current state license with the Virginia Board of Nursing
- If holding an out-of-state license, must be licensed by endorsement by the Virginia Board of Nursing
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Be available to work holidays and weekends
- Possess strong customer service skills
