What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nail Technician position at The Boar's Head Resort?
Boar's Head is seeking a Nail Technician. The Nail Technician supports the Spa by providing manicures and pedicures, and signature nail services to our guests.
Requirements:
- Provide manicure services including, but not limited to:
- Basic manicures
- Basic pedicures
- Shellac application
- Shellac removal
- Hand massages
- Nail repair/polishing
- Signature manicure and pedicure services
- Ensure safety of guests by maintaining proper cleanliness/sanitation of station, tools, and products
- Provide 4 Diamond level service and etiquette when interacting with guests
- Report any damage or maintenance requests to Spa Manager and/or Supervisor
- Stay up-to-date on all training to maintain certification and stay informed of current nail trends and products
- Contribute to overall resort team goals by completing additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must possess current Nail Technician or Cosmetology License from the State of Virginia or be in active reciprocity to transfer Nail Licensure from another state.
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality nail care in either a salon or resort setting
- Strong communication skills
- Professional attitude and guest service skills
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
