COMPENSATION RANGE: 1,080.00 - 1,300.00 USD per credit hour

EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION: Faculty

This is an open pool posting and applicants will be contacted only if a suitable position becomes available. Pool may be used to fill vacancies for the Fall 2024 - Summer 2025.

This pool expires 05/31/2025. Applicants wishing to remain in this pool past 05/31/2025, must reapply at that time.

Position Summary:

The UNC School of Nursing invites applications for part-time faculty positions to teach in our graduate programs. Part-time graduate faculty may teach on-campus in clinical skills laboratories/simulations in the FNP and ENP programs or teach in our online support courses for master’s or doctoral programs. Depending on interest and expertise, opportunities for on-campus, classroom teaching may also be available. These positions are filled semester by semester based on the needs of the programs. The positions are highly flexible, depending on the interest and experience of the applicant, and may support either the clinical or didactic curricula for the graduate programs.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Nursing or other professional clinical degree (MD, DO, PA, etc.)
Two years clinical experience
Unencumbered CO RN/APRN or other professional clinical CO license
Completion of Urine Drug Screening

Preferred Requirements:
Doctoral Degree in Nursing

Full-time employees are eligible to receive tuition waiver benefits, as well as dependents and spouses of UNC Employees who are employed at 0.5 FTE or above are eligible for undergraduate dependent tuition grants of up to 50%. These tuition grants will cover in-state tuition charges. Further requirements may exist. Other benefits may be available based on position.

Background Check
Satisfactory completion of a background check, educational check, and authorization to work in the United States is required after a conditional offer of employment has been made. The successful candidate must submit original transcripts within one (1) month of hire.

This position is contingent on funding from the Colorado State Legislature, approval by the Board of Trustees, and subject to the policies and regulations of the University of Northern Colorado.

Clery Act
In compliance with the Clery Act, the most recent University of Northern Colorado Annual Campus Security and Fire Safety Report is available online. A paper copy can be requested at the UNC Police Department. This report contains crime statistics and policy statements related to safety, conduct processes and Title IX investigations.
