Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Monitor alcohol consumption and prevent over-intoxication
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages and their recipes
- Familiarity with bar equipment, such as shakers, jiggers, and glassware
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating tips
Skills:
- Food handling: Knowledge of proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met
- Help: Willingness to assist other team members as needed to ensure smooth operations
