The Boat House of Three Lakes is looking for someone who can manage all aspects of the Rental & Storage Department, helping the company meet its goals by meeting and exceeding the expectations for those goals pertinent to the department. Represent The Boat House as the first line of contact for the Boat Club function. Complete requests / inquiries in a timely fashion, accurately, and set the business up for a successful customer experience.
The essential job responsibilities for this role are outlined below :
- Communicate and model customer satisfaction standards to all persons within the department.
- Design and implement processes and procedures that support customer satisfaction standards and meet business financial goals.
- Design and implement a customer relations follow-up procedure designed to increase the boat club business through repeat and referral business.
- Track profitability.
- Evaluate rental and storage pricing against competitors for competitive rates and make recommendations to Service Manager.
- Establish and maintain successful relationships with employees in other departments within the local and extended organization and with vendors.
- Manage subordinate employees to include but not limited to : hiring, training, discpline, and if necessary, termination.
- Establish policies as needed for proper protocol and enforce those processes.
- Model and require all employees to follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate with customers professionally and with courtesy.
- Sell service and packages to customers in person, by telephone and electronically as best suits the customer.
- Work with clients to provide appointments that support business needs AND customer convenience.
- Complete necessary paperwork completely and accurately at all times.
- Follow Complain Handling Procedure to support upset customers. Reach resolution, when possible, that is satisfactory to the customer while protecting the company's interests.
- Refer potential sales leads to the Sales Department for customer support.
- Maintain department records accurately and in proper order per established guidelines and procedure.
- Attend all assigned meetings.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
