The Boat Place is a small business in Fort Myers, FL. We are professional, agile, customer-centric and our goal is to The Boat Place is looking for a sales person to sell new/used boats, boat trailers and Suzuki outboard motors. Must have some basic knowledge of boats!! During the season (November - March) we have boat shows that you will need to work at to sell and offer our products to customers, and schedule sea trials. During boat shows we will need someone to help set up the boats, tents, steps as well as help with break down.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Sales professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying new sales opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the sales process, and the ability to think strategically and creatively to identify new business opportunities. Basic computer skills is a MUST.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Develop sales plans to meet customer needs.
- Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements.
- Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
- Stay informed about products and services and industry trends.
- Provide feedback to management on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
