Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Bouncer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patrons and staff at our venue. This role requires strong conflict management skills, the ability to assess situations quickly, and a commitment to upholding the venue's policies and regulations.
Duties
- Monitor the entrance and exit of the venue to ensure only authorized individuals gain access.
- Conduct thorough checks of bags and personal items as necessary.
- Enforce venue rules and regulations while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Manage conflicts and de-escalate potentially volatile situations effectively.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to monitor activities within the venue.
- Provide first aid or CPR assistance in emergency situations as needed.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior or activities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is a plus.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A military background or training may be beneficial but is not required.
- Must possess a valid security license or certification as mandated by local regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
