About Us: The Boba Bomb is an anime-themed bubble tea shop located inside Anime Boom in McAllen, Texas. We pride ourselves on serving a wide variety of delicious handcrafted bubble teas, lemonade and cold brew coffee. Our mission is to provide exceptional beverages in a welcoming atmosphere, making every visit a memorable experience.
Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Bobaristas. As a Bobarista, you will be the face of The Boba Bomb, responsible for creating customized beverages and bubble waffles while ensuring an outstanding customer experience. This role requires a passion for drink making, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Beverage Preparation: Craft a variety of drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders accurately, and provide friendly, individualized attention to each guest.
- Cash Handling: Operate the cash register and point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, ensuring accurate transactions.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including regular cleaning of equipment, mopping floors, and taking out trash.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about our menu offerings to assist customers with questions and provide recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a food service or beverage preparation role is preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Being bilingual is a plus!
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Availability: Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
