SAP - FICO Functional Analyst

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled SAP FICO Functional Analyst to join our team in Pewaukee. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. This role involves analyzing business requirements, designing and implementing SAP FICO solutions, and providing ongoing support to ensure the effective use of SAP systems. Key Responsibilities: Analyze business processes and requirements to identify opportunities for improvement within the SAP FICO modules. Collaborate with Business Stakeholders as a Trusted Advisor to Design, configure, test, and implement SAP FICO solutions to meet business needs. Understand how the solutions impact business processes and organizational change management across the enterprise. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and external systems. Translate business requirements into functional specifications and create the configuration rationale to design and configure SAP applications. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP FICO systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues. Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users. Create and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures. Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and testing activities. Facilitate business process reviews to gather expected business outcomes and functional requirements. Design, test and deploy the technical components required for successful SAP solutions, especially RICEFs (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms) design and testing. Work with the SAP Development team to unit test and deliver SAP Applications by defining and documenting reusable test scenarios, building unit test cases and creating data for unit testing as needed; participate in design and execution of system, integration and performance testing. Participate in prioritization of work requests to deliver on business initiatives; create estimates for upcoming projects, minor and major enhancements. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience working with SAP FICO modules. Strong understanding of financial accounting and controlling principles. Proficiency in SAP configuration and customization. Specification of test scenarios and plans for functional and integration tests Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and takes initiative Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong desire to learn new technologies and tools SAP certification in FICO is a plus.   Preferred Skills: Experience with SAP S/4HANA. Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD). Familiarity with SAP Fiori and other SAP user interfaces. Project management experience.
