The Boelter Companies is seeking a full-time Service & Warranty Manager. We are looking for a passionate, creative, team-oriented individual that will help make a difference in a rapidly changing and evolving organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Answer and respond to incoming call and emails related to warranty and service
Obtain critical information required to determine whether equipment is in warranty or requires out of warranty service to include:
Manufacturer
Serial Number
Site Contact
Email
Phone Number
Other contact(s) needed to be updated
Description of the issue
Log all information and notes into Boelter’s warranty system
Work with factory on equipment in warranty
Coordinate service with ASA and customer
Communicate status to applicable National Account Managers
Communicate status to customer
If equipment is not under warranty, identify local ASA to assist with service
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• 5-10 years of experience in the foodservice industry
In-depth understanding of coordinating service for equipment under warranty
Understands Manufacturer warranty processes
Coordinates with manufacturers and rep groups
Coordinates with Authorized Service Agents (ASAs)
Coordination of service for non-warranty items
Introduction to local ASAs
Proven ability to manage a high volume of daily service calls
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Great listening skills
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Good relationship building skills
Very detail oriented
Highly organized
Exceptional follow up skills
