HOW YOUR ROLE FITS INTO CHASKA:
The Clubhouse Staff position will greet and assist guests, manage reservations and tee times, handle transactions, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the clubhouse. This position will be responsible for providing clubhouse and on-course beverage and snack services as scheduled. Additionally, this role will maintain golf carts and provide assistance with course projects as assigned.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
- Greet and assist guests upon arrival.
- Manage reservations and tee times.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clubhouse, including dining areas, locker rooms, and restrooms.
- Assist with event planning and execution, including tournaments and special events.
- Provide information about the golf course, facilities, and services.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
- Provide bartending services in the clubhouse and on course as scheduled.
- Pick the driving range as needed.
- Maintain golf carts for guest use to include gassing, parking, and cleaning.
- Act in the capacity of tee start or ranger as needed.
- Assist the grounds crew with special projects.
- Monitor pace of play and communicate to the clubhouse about any potential course issues.
- What we expect from you:
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
- High School degree or equivalent required.
- Possess a current bartending license.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a similar role preferred.
- Experience working on a golf course or sports facility is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- A valid driver’s license may be required. Individuals in this role may be subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check. The outcome of any MVR checks conducted may negatively impact the persons’ ability to participate in any vehicle program provided by the company, including but not limited to the ability to drive a personal vehicle on behalf of The Boldt Company or rent a vehicle through for business travel purposes.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to position objects and operate tools or controls. Employee may frequently uses computer keyboards. The employee is occasionally required to position self to maneuver in confined or awkward spaces. The employee regularly is required to remain in a stationary position and move to access people or machinery or workspaces. Employee is occasionally required to ascend and/or descend a ladder or stairs to reach work areas. The employee must regularly move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 50 pounds. Specific abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employee views computer monitor frequently. The employee is required to be able to effectively communicate while on the job site and throughout the completion of duties.
The working conditions of this position requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to maintain safety and prevent exposure to harmful materials. The environment for which this position functions may be exposed to prolonged loud noises and may contain scents and fragrances.
