What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at The Bolton Group?
The ideal candidate will be exposed to monthly close processes, audit participation, and GL oversight. They will be organized and approach each issue analytically.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain capital project records and cost reports
- Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
- Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
- Research and analyze expense variances for company management
- Develop internal and audit controls
- Update and submit budget amendments
- Balance sheet reconciliation and financial statement preparation.
Qualifications
- 3 years' of professional accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing or building and construction industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance
- Audit exposure and process improvement experience
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
