The Bond Maker is dedicated to creating meaningful connections among women through elevated events. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Part-Time Event Host, to bring energy and warmth to our weekly events and meetups throughout Humble, Atascocita, Kingwood and surrounding areas.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Hosting: Be the face of The Bond Maker at weekly events and meetups, ensuring all attendees feel welcomed and valued. Arrive early at venues to prepare and ensure the event runs smoothly.
- Engagement and Atmosphere: Energize attendees by creating a friendly, inviting, and engaging environment. Facilitate conversations, encourage participation, and ensure every attendee has a great experience.
- Public Speaking: Comfortably speak in front of groups, providing guidance and sharing any necessary information about the event to keep things flowing.
- Venue Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact with venue staff, ensuring everything is set up and that the event runs seamlessly.
- Community Interaction: Engage with attendees during and after events to build relationships and encourage future participation.
- Virtual Event Hosting: Host and participate in virtual events when needed, using a computer or laptop.
Qualifications:
- Event Hosting Experience: Previous experience hosting events or facilitating group activities is required.
- Public Speaking Skills: Comfort with speaking to groups, energizing the room, and keeping the event lively.
- Interpersonal Skills: A natural ability to connect with others and create an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with attendees and share key information.
- Technical Skills: Experience using a laptop or computer for virtual events and hosting online interactions.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to event locations, with a valid driver’s license.
- Age Requirement: Must be over the age of 21.
Additional Requirements:
- Dependability: Must be reliable and consistently arrive early for events.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work closely with The Bond Maker’s team to execute successful events.
