Locally owned and operated restaurant, The Boot Grill opened in May 2011. We have quickly become known for our fun staff, delicious food (prime rib all day, every day in Loveland!), entertainment, and special events such as K99's New from Nashville, and CSU Watch Events for CSU Athletics and live music every weekend.
Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and reliable security personnel to join our team at The Boot Grill. As a part of our bar security team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patrons and employees. This is a vital role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle challenging, stressful situations with professionalism.
Responsibilities:
-Check IDs at the door to ensure no one under 21 gains entry to the bar area after 8pm
-Conduct regular patrols to ensure the security of the premises
-Verify prior to entry that customers are not obviously intoxicated.
-Verify that customers are not carrying weapons or contraband.
-Monitor surveillance cameras when necessary and keep detailed records of any incidents.
-Work with management and staff to maintain a fun, safe, and peaceful environment for employees and patrons.
-Communicate and cooperate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent required
-Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred
-CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
-Strong surveillance skills with knowledge of CCTV systems
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work as part of a team in an effective and cohesive manner
-Ability to take direction from management when given, and to communicate with management regularly regarding concerning or unusual activity
-Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
-Ability to remain alert and engaged on slower nights or during a lull in activity
-Strong conflict management skills to difficult individuals or situations
-Strong self-control and the ability to remain professional and non-reactionary when an intoxicated or otherwise unruly patron tries to push your buttons
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 12 per week
