We are hiring a Part Time Housekeeper at Dogfish Inn.
What You'll Brew:
- Organizes cleaning room and closet area and helps to maintain the cleanliness of the laundry room
- Picks up trash, sorts trash and recycling, and keeps a clean and organized work space
- Stocks minibar, glassware, paper products and all other elements to finalize a room for renting
- Engages and interacts with guests to help deliver exceptional Dogfish experience
- Responsible for daily cleaning of all rented rooms
- Maintains a clean lobby, office, corridors, and grounds
- Maintains and keeps inventory of required cleaning supplies, linens, and tools
- Strips rooms, make beds, mops, sweeps, vacuums, and performs all other general cleaning activities
- Maintains all outdoor spaces, keeping walkways clear of sand, dirt and trash
- Cleans cottage in its entirety: maintains the cleanliness of the cottage bathroom, staircase, corridors, and offices
- Creates, modifies and executes any cleaning SOPs for quick turns, stay overs, and seasonal deep cleans
- Performs light buildings and ground work: changes lightbulbs, fixes blinds, tightens screws, etc.
- Works safely with a variety of chemicals
- Trains new coworkers and helps manage and oversee contracted cleaners
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School or GED
- 5 years of housekeeping experience for rental or hotel properties
- Basic computer skills
- Self-starter, motivated, and proactive
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with/as a team
