Senior Brewery Controller
We are currently hiring a Senior Brewery Controller in Breinigsville, PA reporting to the Director of Operations Finance.
About the Role
The Senior Brewery Controller position is accountable for the overall integrity, accuracy and completeness of the Sam Adams Pennsylvania Brewery's (SAPB) financial results and safeguarding of the brewery assets.
The Controller is a key member of the Brewery Management team and engages in all aspects of operations to provide timely and comprehensive financial leadership to the Brewery Management team.
The Senior Controller is a close business partner to the Brewery Director and, as such, will provide insights and drive better decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, coach, and develop a team of 4 accounting and finance professionals
- Lead and manage the monthly/quarterly closing process
- Develop and manage direct reports responsible for the day-to-day accounting, reporting and inventory control of the brewery operations
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10 years' experience in a manufacturing operation with emphasis on costing and analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Experience leading a team required
- Proven experience leveraging Microsoft Office and Excel
- Experience utilizing SAP
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA
- Additional higher learning beyond college including leadership and supervisory training
This role requires a strong understanding of financial systems, processes, and procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
