What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solar Installer position at The Boston Solar Company LLC?

We are currently seeking a professional Solar Installer! You will strive to provide excellent quality and safe solar systems as well as solutions for a variety of customers throughout Massachusetts and New England.

Responsibilities:

  • Install solar panels, racking systems and associated equipment for solar systems for a variety of customers.
  • Ensure systems meet company standards and are installed per all electrical and local building codes
  • Work independently and as part of a team with other installers and electricians.
  • Maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver’s license
  • OSHA 10 preferred
  • Previous experience in solar, construction or other related fields is preferred
  • Familiarity with solar equipment and hand tools
  • Comfortable with heights as well as setting up and using a ladder
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
