Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the property management operations, ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and that tenant needs are met efficiently. Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily property operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage property maintenance requests using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track and resolve issues promptly.
- Support the leasing process by conducting property showings, processing applications, and facilitating lease agreements.
- Maintain accurate data entry for tenant records, contracts, and maintenance logs.
- Develop positive relationships with tenants through effective customer relationship management.
- Collaborate with the Property Manager to implement upselling strategies for available units and services.
- Handle administrative tasks including correspondence, filing, and office organization to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor property conditions and report any maintenance or safety concerns to the Property Manager.
Experience
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with property leasing processes and administrative duties is advantageous.
- Experience with CMMS software or similar tools is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with tenants and vendors.
- Proficiency in data entry and office management practices.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
