ROLE OVERVIEW: As a Project Manager with Bowa Construction, you’ll play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and delivering. This role will manage the project lifecycle, ensuring client satisfaction, and supporting the project team in tasks ranging from cost control to scheduling, estimating, document control, and more. The Project Manager will work independently and proactively to make decisions, focusing on delivering projects efficiently.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget constraints.
- Oversee safety and quality control guidelines to maintain industry-leading standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate and optimize the allocation of manpower, materials, and equipment, maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, engineers, and subcontractors, facilitating communication and promptly resolving project issues.
- Identify project risks, including safety and compliance concerns, and implement proactive solutions to mitigate them.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and client-specific requirements, especially in fast-paced data center environments.
- Prepare and oversee project documentation, including reports, change orders, and regulatory permits.
- Lead, mentor, and foster a collaborative project team culture to ensure alignment with project goals.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. (Relevant experience may substitute for a degree.)
- Minimum of 10 years in project management with large scale project experience
- Proven CMAR / design build experience
- Convention center and multi-purpose venue experience preferred
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management within a collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to develop innovative solutions to project challenges.
- Strong understanding of document control, scheduling, and cost control practices.
