About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Body Shop Technician Lead to join our team at The Boyd Group. As a leader in our body shop, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to our technicians, ensuring that each vehicle is restored to its pre-accident condition.
Your expertise in vehicle repair methods and procedures will make you an asset to our organization. You will work collaboratively with our team to achieve repair facility KPIs, ensuring that each vehicle is delivered to our customers on time and to their satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to junior technicians.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer service.
- Collaborate with our team to achieve repair facility KPIs.
- Ensure that each vehicle is restored to its pre-accident condition.
- Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repaired vehicles.
Education and/or Experience Required
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A successful completion of a technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer is highly preferred.
Required Skills/Abilities
- The ability to lead and motivate a team.
- A thorough understanding of vehicle repair methods and procedures.
- Proficiency in using trade-specific tools.
